Rolling out the CMMS in small phases is critical. Beta testing and constant tweaking and feedback will ensure that all systems are operating as they should. Rolling out a CMMS/PM plan too fast can overwhelm and burn out maintenance workers. Proper training should be provided to frequent CMMS users to ensure ease of operation.

Not correcting bad habits early on

An up to date inventory is incredibly important as it will make sure when something breaks, you have the needed materials to fix it.
