- Amperage: IDLE – 40 mA, Operation – ≤ 2.5 A
- Noise: ≤ 50 db (A)
- Safety devices: Flame failure device (ionization flame rod sensor), Pressure relief valve (supplied with heater), Over heat prevention (temperature limiter).
- Water resistant: IP X4 (protection against water drops)
Troubleshooting
- Burners do not ignite when hot water is turned on:
- Check cold water connection is on the right side
- Verify minimum water flow rate of 0.8 GPM (3 l/m) is achieved
- Clean inlet water filter screen
- Check for plumbing crossover causing back pressure
- Water is too hot:
- Lower temperature setting on heater or remote control
- Water is not hot enough:
- Increase temperature setting on heater or remote control
- Verify adequate gas pressure and line sizing
- Check for cold water mixing with hot water outlet
- Low water flow/pressure:
- Reduce number of simultaneous hot water applications
- Verify adequate gas pressure and line sizing
- Clean inlet water filter screen
- Hot water temperature fluctuates/unit deactivates:
- Install pressure balance valve to correct unbalanced water pressures
- Adjust temperature balance shower valve to hottest setting
- Lower temperature setting on heater
- Noisy burner/heater during operation:
- Have a certified technician adjust CO2 levels
