Troubleshooting

  • ZS Pro or ZS Pro-F display shows incorrect or missing values:
    • Check for errors in the i-Vu application and Snap.
    • Verify values coming in from the sensors and going out to the sensors are expected values.
    • Check the Status and Error columns in the i-Vu application Sensor Binder and ASVI microblocks.
    • If the Error column shows Resource Allocation, try formatting the sensor. If the error is not corrected by formatting, the control program engineer should reduce the number of items that the sensor is trying to display.
  • ZS Pro or ZS Pro-F display shows nothing:
    • The sensor has no power.
    • The sensor is not communicating with the network. Check software/addressing setup, wiring connections, and controller operating status.
  • ZS Pro or ZS Pro-F display shows characters that seem out of place:
    • The sensor may have a memory problem. Try formatting the sensor.
  • SPT Standard or SPT Plus LED is not lit:
    • The sensor has no power.
  • SPT Standard or SPT Plus LED blinks 1 time per second:
    • The sensor has power but is not communicating.
  • SPT Standard or SPT Plus LED blinks 2.5 times per second:
    • The sensor is correctly wired and communicating.
  • SPT Pro or SPT Pro Plus display shows nothing:
    • The sensor has no power.
  • SPT Pro or SPT Pro Plus display shows all elements:
    • The sensor has power but is not communicating.
  • SPT Pro or SPT Pro Plus display shows only temperature and current status:
    • The sensor is correctly wired and communicating.
