Preventive Maintenance Schedule
First 25 Hours:
- Change engine oil
Daily:
- Check engine oil level
- Check auger housing and discharge chute for packed snow or ice
Every 150 Hours:
- Check and adjust engine speed
- Check and replace fuel filter
Every Year Before Operation:
- Change engine oil
- Check and clean spark plug
- Check and readjust scraper bar
- Check auger clutch lever freeplay and readjust if needed
Every Year Before Storage:
- Drain fuel tank and carburetor
- Apply lubricant to moving parts

- Engine stalls when auger clutch lever is engaged:
- Clear discharge chute or auger housing of obstruction
- Check for auger freezing due to ice buildup
